"Deciding the fate and destiny of Roleplay"[]
Gentlemen, Ladies, Various others.
The time has come for us to form an Assembly of Notable Roleplayers, to organise a new Role Play order in which all Roleplayers have the opportunity to become great, where rank is determined by more then just your lvl but imagination and where petty matters such as Kings and Empires have no place!
Where everyman is someone special and unique, where a man can be what he wants to be, be that, Commodore de Marquis Du'Casse or plain old Long John Silver!' By this i mean they can be a simple Pirate or High Ranking Naval Officer or whatever they want to be.
Where the only titles are the ones we make for ourselves, and where troublemakers such as the Pearson Wright have no authority over people and can be delt with swiftly!, where when a high ranking member of a guild, (Exp. Lord Admiral Goldtimbers of the British Navy) becomes corrupt or greedy they can be removed by democracy and a sensable constitution!
No longer will men be slaves to tyrants but supported by other men, who form the workings of a great society!
We must form this Assembly to secure RP in the future, for if we dont, then put simply, Roleplay will die! Roleplay is not yet dead, if POR comes out which is a possiblity then we should be prepared!
I know that many of us dont want that to happen for if it did, where would we be? we'd lose great friends and relationships that we'd miss!
In this new Roleplay, we could still be Nobles or Beggars, EITC or Pirates, British or Spanish, (or French) still have our titles we come up with ourselves, (such as Earl of Edrington) for this adds to the back story of our characters! we could still have marraiges, still have daring raids on enemy bases and epic ship to ship battles between Britain and Spain! but without the baggage of Country and Empire Roleplay! And also without the baggage of High Marshall such and such or Director of such and such.
It is up to you!
Do you as a people want to join the Assembly of Notables? or do you wish for Roleplay to burn out into history?
