REFER TO IMAGES WITH CORRESPONDING NUMBERS.

  1. Download Paint.NET <<<< Click yellow text m8 
  2. Google/Bing (lol)/Yahoo/search the interwebs for 'free fonts' EX: http://www.1001fonts.com/
  3. Download .ZIP of font (NOTE: Keep font in .zip and do NOT extract/unzip) 
  4. Open .ZIP in WINRAR (or whatever you use to open archives) and run the font installer and click the INSTALL button, etc. 
  5. Close all windows and delete the .zip folder (If you extract/unzip the font installer to anywhere on your computer, it will be open in your system (OS) and you will not be able to delete the installer even though the font has already been installed. The idea is to put the font installer in the windows font folder even though if you run the installer, the font is already in the windows font folder, but you cannot move the folder because it is 'in use'. Keep it in the .zip/archive folder for you can delete it from whereever you saved it to (desktop/downloads folder, etc).
  6. Open Paint.NET
  7. Under the IMAGE tab, click resize (CRTL+R), adjust the canvas size to fit your signature (normally 1000 pixels by 750 is good enough. The signature should not be overly sized.
  8. Select the entire canvas (CRTL+A) and delete it (DELETE key).
  9. Chose a corner/space on your now transparent canvas where the entire signature will fit. Use the Type tool (T key), select your desired font, font size, font characteristics and type whatever you want. (Note Do not make your signature too small or too big. Font size 20 - 48 for most fonts.
  10. Select/crop (S key) the signature as close to the font as possible, and Crtl+X (Cut) then Crtl+N ( or Open a new project under FILE), then Crtl+V (paste). Aspect ratios should be exactly the same as what you cut before.
  11. Finally FILE, Save as (Crtl+Shift+S) .PNG file format, ensure auto-detect is selected, then press OK.
  12. Upload to wiki. If the signature is not transparent, you A, did not delete the canvas in step 8 or B, you did not save as .PNG file format.
