The User Awards is an event hosted annually at the beginning of December. The event is designed to recognize the Users who made an impact on the Wiki in various ways over the past year. People are nominated on Board:Wiki User Awards after Ned makes an announcement post on the forum at the beginning of December. After all categories have a nomination, Ned makes a blog & other users vote in the comments on who they want to win each award. (An example of this can be seen in the 2014 User Awards blog.)

- Nominations must be made in good faith, and cannot be an obvious troll nomination.
