Switzerland is a nation under King David I. It has suffered a long line of Kings. Starting with barbarism in the 1300s, the 1700s marked the beginning of the Swiss becoming a country. Philip V took Switzerland first starting a long line of monarchs which included, Matthew I, William I, Ryan I, and Matthew II. William II has been made King, thus starting the Swiss Expansion period. We have several provinces outside of the Cantons, including Korea, Hassigos, Wurttemberg, Lombardy, Hesse, and arguably, Genoa. Recently, David Yellowfish was named King after William II died. Switzerland flourishing under his rule, the Imperial Era has began.
The Kingdom of Switzerland, officially the Swiss Confederacy, is a strong alliance of twenty-five cantons, all collectively united under one sole monarch. Though each canton is self-governing and holds autonomous statuses, all jurisdiction and final decisions lie with the head of state, the king, as well as the legislative body (headed by a prime minister) in the confederacy's capital, Berne.
