Captain: Archibald Bane
The HMS Imperial was originally a French ship of the line The Lisieux. The Lisieux was a 74 gun magnifique class ship of the line that was captured by the previous Company flagship, the 72 gun HMS Vindication at the Battle of the Straight of Marquis. The Lisieux was then taken to the Company harbour in Turtling Bay. There it was outfitted with 10 more guns and renamed the HMS Imperial. Shortly after it's launching the HMS Vindication was lost at the Battle of Herring's Pass, and thus the HMS Imperial was put into action as the new Company flagship.
