The Caribbean Zombie Plague

The Caribbean Zombie Plague is a plague that happened in the Caribbean in the 1740's on an Island called La Isla De Los Muertos(The Island of the Dead) because of the plague that not only killed all the settlers but turned them into Zombies.

Settlement and Death

In 1735 The Spanish discovered a large snowy island(which is odd considering its the Caribbean) they called La isla de la nieve(The island of snow), 2 months later, the King of Spain sent 300 people and 200 Royal Guards to colonize the island, after about 3 months after starting a town called La Ciudad del Paraíso(The Town of Paradise) there was a sickness that killed over half the settlers, but after they died, their corpases started to kill the rest of the settlers and soldiers. After about a week all the soldiers left the people to die as they saw the sickness had infected the people.

Island of death and temporary spread

After a year, 2 explorers for Russia discovered the island and a sign that said. La isla de la muerte(The Island of death) at first the explores were excited but they didnt know about the people. When they arrived, they were attacked by over 300 walking corpases and it is rumored they were both killed. The zombies took over the ship the explorers came on and as they got out to sea the temperture raised so high that the sickness that was keeping the bodies alive died out and all but 3 of the zombies survived and as they came back to their island it is said that the sickness can only survive in cold weather.

Exposure to the Caribbean

A few years later, the plague turned heavy. It was growing in the air. Powerful winds spreaded it like butter. The first island it hit was Padres Del Fuego. The residents became sick, and were soon zombiefied. The plague soon spread across the Caribbean. However, some were immune to the plague, and remainded human. After months of battle, the survovors were dead, but the plague ended, ad all victims turned back to humans. The Caribbean was soon rebuilt just as before.
