Lt. Gonville Bromhead is the commanding officer of B Company of the second battalion of the Royal Marines,
The son of a noted army Colonal he enlisted in the marines at the age of 15 and was posted in India where he saw active service at the Battle of Plassey with Robert Clive of india, he was posted as a first lieutenant and given command of B company which were posted to Port Royal in fort Charles. he was made an officer of James Norrington's staff. He fought in the first and second battles of port royal and at the battle of Ravens Cove Where against impossible odds he and his company of eighty men faced 4000 undead troops of jolly roger for nearly 34 hours before they were relieved by the 1st regiment of foot from Kingshead.

Jolly Roger hated Bromhead and constantly attacked port royal to get back murdering Bromheads wife Adele Bromhead. He Eventually got over her death but swore revenge on Jolly Roger he still fights against the cursed monster whom has 20,000 pound reward on his undead head.
