On this day and from this day forth, January 7, 1745, you are most honourably acquitted and dismissed from your duties as Second General of the Royal British Marines. For your full 20 years of loyal and dutiful service, by your own request, and by the decision made by the Board of Directors for the Royal British Marines under First General Johnathan Francis Anthony O' Reilly I, you are, as stated above, hereby honourably discharged from the Royal British Marines. You are personally thanked for your service by the aforementioned general and the rest of his staff.
