The Reapers are a paramilitary black ops unit comprised of mercenaries from around the world. They are mainly called in to perform operations deemed too dangerous for Overseers or regular militia. Otherwise, they operate as the private security force of Anton Enterprises.
Their leader, Achilles Phthónos was a former Overseer during the Spartan Conflict. He left the Overseers after he lost his arm, and blamed the organization for not giving him the credit he thought he deserved, as he was a key factor in gaining the city of Hyperborea for their side. After the war, he, Liev Paráfron, Ryan Astathís, and William Emfánisi splintered off and formed their own paramilitary outfit under the name "The Reapers", with their logo being that of Hades over a flaming boat, as they saw themselves as bringers of death. Over the years they would attract, or hire other mercenaries from their conflict zones, greatly increasing their numbers. By the time of the Athenian Election, their numbers were in the triple digits, with war correspondent Franklin Fier claiming the "official" tally was three hundred seventy-five heads and counting.
The Reapers receive their weaponry on a weekly basis from Anton Enterprises as a part of the deal Anton Parrésia. As such, their weaponry is state-of-the-art, even more so than that of the Overseers.

The Reapers operate under a hierarchy not dissimilar to that of a regular military force, with Achilles operating as the Supreme Commander, Antilochus operating as the sub-commander, and Hector Tros as the Tactical Adviser. The high ranking members mainly wear skull-like helmets spray painted black, as a mockery of the Overseer power armor, and to strike fear into their enemies. Lower-normal ranking members of the Reapers wear common paramilitary garb.
