Atkin Clark aka Albatross is a former Abnormality turned human, he currently sits as the head of the Shadow of Hades Mafia, formerly the Pleonektés Family Mafia after Troy Pistós put most of the family away, Atkin was named sole owner of the family fortune in the will of Clarence Pleonektés, after Attkin saved his wife during the Spartan War.
Early Life and The Spartan War[]
Atkin was born in Eea, the son of two farmers. When he turned eighteen the Spartan War broke out, the young man immediately enlisted to escape the life he found mundane. He was trained as a sniper as a part of the 75th Recon regiment, and accumulated nine confirmed kills. During the siege on Hyperborea, he met Troy Pistós and Sal Passow, though the trio never became friends, it was due to this meeting that Atkin knew Troy was a man who could be trusted in his later years.
Once the war ended, Atkin returned home to find his family farm had been sold by the government to pay for the war, his parents had been taken in by kindly neighbors. Atkin although furious at this, knew he had to get into other forms of work, and joined the Pleonektés Family mafia as a bodyguard, upon getting a good word from Clarence's wife Kristen, whom he saved during the Spartan War.
He proved himself a loyal man to Clarence, whom promoted Atkin to Made Man, and after a year was on the verge of becoming a Cappo, however, Troy had the family put away in a court case, leaving Atkin in charge of the entire mafia. After this event, Atkin only went by the name Albatross
The Shadow of Hades[]
Under his leadership, he changed the name of the Mafia to the Shadow of Hades in remembrance to his time in the Spartan War, and quickly made contact with Troy, becoming a secret informant for his fellow soldier, in return Troy wouldn't arrest him for his crimes.
After the assassination of Senator Grant, Atkin moved operations to the Arcadia Club, one of his most profitable fronts to provide greater protection, as he feared his assassination would soon be upon him, as he was a public supporter of the WINE party.
