A Viceroyal Repeating Rifle

The Viceroyal Repeating Rifle is a Rifle in use by the Viceroyalty Co. Army.

History[]

The Viceroyal Repeating Rifle was invented in 1724 (2010) by Jack Seacutter, a gunsmith employed by Viceroyalty Co.. He came up with the idea of using the repeating pistol technology on a rifle or musket. The resulting gun can fire six times before being reloaded. The gun reloads as fast as any other rifle or musket. However, the guns had some initial problems. They were extremely expensive at first, some of them costing 20,000 gold a piece to produce! Soldiers complained of jamming problems, and most guns would overheat after 4 rounds. Jack Seacutter wanted to improve the design, but he needed funds. In a desperate gamble he borrowed 50,000 gold from the Royale Trading Co.. He worked on the design for several nights and fixed the jamming problems and lowered the cost substantially. Late in 1724 (2010), the rifle was put to the test. Jack was given command of five soldiers in a battle on Kingshead. He provided his soldiers with the improved repeating rifles. They repelled an enemy attack of twenty men on their own. The repeating rifles scared the enemies so much, they fled Kingshead for the relative safety of Tortuga. After this Jack Seacutter was given a promotion, and the Viceroyal Repeating Rifles entered service. After a month, it was recalled and improved by William Damproberts, the Royale Alliance Elite Squad leader. They are now standard issue to all Viceroyal Army soldiers and un-commissioned officers. Many Officers still wish to wear pistols, although Robert Mcroberts and John Breasly both have versions of the Rifles which are gold-plated. John Breasly keeps it on the wall in his office, and Robert Mcroberts uses his Rifle for Special combat missions.

In Game Apperances[]

There was a glitch which allowed Pirates to shoot several times without reloading. It is unknown who found it First, but Jack Seacutter was the first to spread it to a lot of People. The Glitch was if you bayonet an enemy while reloading and firing at the same time eventually you would be able to fire and reload at the same time rapidly.

They were used by the Viceroyalty Co. Army in combat on Kingshead, while against the United Co. Empire.
